Prattville, AL @ Capitol Hill #2

Prattville, Alabama, United States 36066

Description

The same spectacular location, overlooking 'The Legislator' golf course at Capitol Hill, right next to the first house. The setting is private and secluded, only 200 yards from the Capitol Hill entrance gate! This house is also brand new, opening for guests on April 1, 2015. It can be rented along with our other Prattville home, which is right next door.

We designed our home for groups to be pampered, so there are many special amenities, including: 4 Master suites, each with an attached bath and two queen-sized beds (8 beds total).

The large, walk-in showers are finished in designer tile and the vanities have granite countertops. The open floor plan offers a 'great room' with 60 inch plasma TV, dining/poker table with seating for 8 and a separate billiard room with championship Brunswick table. Every bedroom has an I-pod docking station so you can enjoy your favorite tunes. Each bedroom also has a plasma TV.

The fully equipped kitchen is spacious enough for many cooks, or you can hire one of our personal chefs to prepare meals for you. The outdoor deck, overlooking the golf course, is perfect for relaxing, enjoying a glass of wine or grilling steaks. No expense was spared and no detail overlooked.

Our large, beautiful home is 3,200 square feet of luxury that was designed specifically for groups. We offer a lodging experience that you can not find at a typical hotel. We believe it is the best experience at the best price. Please call us so we can answer your questions and help you make a well informed decision.

I do my best to return phone calls promptly . Also, check our calendar for availability as it is accurate. If the dates you want are unavailable, please consider one of my other homes on the RTJ Trail.

Rick's house was exactly as described and the location could not have been better. We could hang out at the house until we were ready to go to the course. The view of the course was spectacular and the setup was perfect for 8 guys. I would love him to build out his portfolio of houses so we could pick one in different locations each year. Highly recommend.

This is our second Brothers Tournament at an Oster Golf House. It is the most perfect way to enjoy friendship, golf, and perfect accommodations. There is nothing that was not thought of in advance for our stay relative to the House. Bring your clubs and friends, to enjoy the most classy days of golf and friendship in the most hospitable surroundings you can find. RTJ golf at Capital Hill is a true test however, returning to your Oster House takes the test to rest, a great experience.

Wow, what an incredible week for our group at Rick Oster's Golf House. When you reserve a vacation home on line, you hope it looks as good when you open the front door. We could not been more impressed with all the 4 bedrooms and very large bathrooms. That was on the main floor. Then we walked up the stairs to the great room and I mean GREAT. The kitchen was so well equipped--even down to the meat thermometer for your steaks on the grill. The appliances were top of the line. When the sun came up, we had a wonderful view of the 5th hole on the Capitol Hill Course. With coffee in hand, we relaxed in the screened porch. Then our guys practiced their putting on the putting green between the two Oster homes. The location was very convenient to grocery stores and shopping. I can't tell you how many times we all said what a wonderful vacation house this was. We could not have asked for anything better. Thank you, Rick, for all your help in making this a place we will always remember. Can I give it 10 stars?????

  • Perfect House and Ideal for Golf Outing

We had a group of 8 stay at the house at Capitol Hill from August 6-9 2015 and we couldn't be more pleased with the house and the trip overall. The house was amazing and had everything you needed. We drove in from Baton Rouge as Rick was great at accommodating us and answering any questions we had throughout the process. The house was enormous and we had more than enough room between 8 of us between the spacious bedrooms and individual bathrooms and the living/entertaining rooms. Pool table and poker sets were perfect way to unwind with after a few golf rounds. We decided to stay in and cook every night and everything to do that was was provided at the house. Literally, right outside the gates to the clubhouse I can't think of anything that could have made this trip better. We highly recommend to anyone wanting to take a golf trip with some buddies to stay at this house. We were all incredibly impressed with everything and we are already planning our next trip next year either back here or checking out the house in Birmingham.

  • Perfect House for Golf Getaway

This house was the perfect place to stay during our long weekend golf getaway. We played great golf at the Legislature, Senator and the Judge and afterwards would head back to the house for the evening. The house has something for everyone as we had people playing pool and hanging out in the spacious kitchen while others had a drink on the back porch which overlooks the golf course. The house is located right around the corner from Grocery stores and Restaurants if there is anything you need or if you wanted to eat out. Our Golf Group has been doing a golf trip for a few years now and we all walked away saying this house combined with the golf created our most enjoyable trip thus far and we plan on making a return trip soon.

  • Great Home, Great Views and Great Golf

This place was great for four couples on a golf vacation. The house layout was very comfortable for all of us and the amenities are first class in every aspect. The bedroom suites are situated in such a manner that you cannot hear any sound from other suites. The appliances and flat-panel televisions are first class. There are plenty of plates, silverware and cookware. We particularly liked the kitchen bar and table. They both easily accommodate eight adults and the kitchen table was great for a game of cards for our entire group. The views of the golf course from the kitchen and screened-in porch were picturesque. We played the Judge and it was in beautiful and in great shape. Oh, and I should mention the putting green next to the house. We all had a great time and have put this on our list of places we will definitely return to.

  • Amazing home!

We genuinely enjoyed our stay at this home in Prattville, AL. It was conveniently located to a lot of good restaurants, shopping, and the interstate. We were attending my brother's graduation from Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery and the house was a short 10-15 minute drive away. The 4 master bedrooms were perfect for our group, ensuring each person / family had their own private room and bathroom. We loved the view of the golf course from the upper level of the house, along with all the open space for visiting with friends. The house was the perfect size for our group - allowing us to have a fun get together after the graduation, with probably 20 people in the house comfortably. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for an upscale, well kept, new house. The only note I would add is that it tended to be a little loud in the bedrooms on the lower level, since people were walking upstairs. Just bring a sound machine and that type of noise can be drowned out easily. The beds were SUPER comfortable and the showers were amazing. Everything about this house was top notch. The owner was very helpful when it came to questions we had and helping us extend our stay. Would love to visit this home again!

This is a 5 star property, from the location to the views! Equipped as though you lived there full time. Perfect seperation of space; your group can gather upstairs for socializing & meals & retreat to one of the master suites if you need some alone time. I set up a golf trip for 4 couples & all 8 of us were totally satisfied, not one persons had a negative comment. The owner generously supplied everything form shampoo to laundry detergent. TV's in every bedroom; hairdryers in every bath. Nice linens & towels. The only downside was our stay was too short. I would definitely recommend this owners homes & can't wait to try his home in Oregon! Thank you Rick you definitely run a first class operation. We will be back!

  • Best RTJ Golf Accomodations!

My buddies and I have been coming to Alabama for the past 5 years for an annual guys golf trip. We have always had a tough time trying to find places to stay that could accomodate our group. I found the Oster Golf House in Montgomery last year after our trip. We booked it for this fall and couldn't be happier with the choice. Rick was great to work with and the house has everything that a group needs to enjoy the RTJ Trail. Great location, great layout, and great service. If you are planning a trip to RTJ in Montgomery or Birmingham, you have to look at staying at one of Rick's houses. You won't find a better place to stay on the trail for your group.

  • Perfect golf house!

My brothers and I do an annual golf trip each year and decided on the RTJ trail this year. This house was by FAR the nicest group accommodation we have booked to date, and we've been doing this trip for a long time to some very nice locations. It's got the perfect setup for 4 folks(though could have accomodated a lot more too): each person with their own master suite, all segregated far enough away to not even hear the snoring (an unfortunate family trait for us). The upstairs great room is massive and open - guys could be on the screened in porch while others watched TV while others played pool and yet we could all still be carrying on the requisite smack talking from the day's rounds. Amenity-wise everything is very high end - from the appliances to the decor to the flooring, countertops etc. It's also in a great location in regards to restaurants, shopping etc as well as being right on 3 of the best courses on the trail at Capitol Hill. In addition the owner was very friendly and even took our call when we screwed up the directions and couldnt find the place at 10PM. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend anyone considering lodging or a trip to the RTJ trail in general to book this for your accommodation.

  • We'll be back!

Our group of golfers has been gathering annually for 20 years. This year we wanted a central location and the Montgomery RTJ course was our choice. After looking at other nearby options we came across Oster House and were not disappointed. The golf house exceeded our expectations in every way. Location: You can't get any closer without sleeping at the clubhouse. Bed Rooms: Each room is bigger than what you'd find at a hotel. All queen beds ensure a good night rest. Bath Rooms: The big showers and granite will make spouses jealous they weren't invited. Bath rooms were well stocked with towels, shampoo, bath gel, and TP. Kitchen: Good size kitchen for those that are dining in. If you plan to eat out or take out, great restaurants are minutes away. Open Floor Plan: The living area is ideal for gathering together, whether for post golf bragging, cards, or watching the big game. Other Amenities: extra "beverage" frig, gas grill, poker chips, and pool table. Our group highly recommends Oster Golf Houses and will be back.

Our group hadn't been to RTJ Trail in about 8 years primarily because we got tired of staying in hotels. The house in Prattville seemed perfect looking at the description and when we got there, it was that and more. 4 large bedrooms downstairs, great common area with porches, pool table, big screen TV, full kitchen which we used a lot upstairs and all this 3 minutes from the first tee at Capitol Hill. We will be back.

  • co's bama bash 2014

I started doing my own Bama trip several years ago with a foursome; we would hotel/course hop for a few days, eat out every meal, pack and unpack the trunk a couple of times per day. A few years back, I found some rental houses that enhanced our trip quite a bt. We got to unpack like being home, go to a course every day, then come back to the house for a fine home cooked meal and a drink or two. When planning my expansion to 8 golfers in 2013, I was referred to Rick and the Birmingham house. Talk about an upgrade!! As I pestered him regarding house details, future plans, etc., he let me know of the "Prattville project" and I was the first to book it. Needless to say if you look at the pictures, the house is magnificent and Rick is such a pleasure to deal with. As a trip planner, I always try to do something to make things better for my "boys" and myself; Rick has the same mentality to try to do the same for his renters. If you want to enhance your buddy trip experience you would blow your group away with Rick's houses in Prattville or Birminham.(Maybe I'll get to Bandon Dunes someday!)
