  2019 Graduates #RollTide

  Rented the house for Bama graduation. Took my 89 year old mother to see her granddaughter graduate. House was perfect. Exactly as pictured. Quiet street on the golf course. Publix grocery close by. Great kitchen and living spaces for the celebration afterwards. Can't say enough good things about this property. One of the best we have rented from VRBO to date.

  Perfect for our wedding party

  My son was married this past weekend at the Barn at Shady Lane just down the road. Crenshaw was the perfect place for my family to stay for the weekend. We were even able to invite some of the out of town groomsmen to stay with us. Not only was it convenient and clean but there was plenty of entertainment for the groomsmen during their down time (pool table, cards, basketball and putting green at the house).

  We had a fantastic stay at Sand Ridge! It was the perfect set-up for our large family gathering!!

  I started looking for a place to stay for our daughter’s graduation from UA, Tuscaloosa 8 months out and was starting to get discouraged. Hotel rates quadrupled for mediocre, at best, rooms and the selection on other home rental sites were either much farther away or not at all appealing. I was thrilled to discover HomeAway and even more so when I saw that this house was available!! We all came in on Thursday. The boys golfed on Friday, while the ladies had a spa/retail therapy day in Birmingham. We spent Friday night at the house- relaxing, grilling-out, and just enjoying our family time on the porch, playing pool, and talking in the large, open living area. Having all the comforts and of home, being new, clean, and modern, as well as making wonderful memories during our stay made this house well worth the price! Thank you!!

  PERFECT

  We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to meet and fellowship! The house and the amenities are top of the line!! The beds are comfortable and each room has its own bathroom! Do yourself a favor and stay here. You won’t regret it!!

  This house is perfect for family weekend getaways!

  I rented this house for our family to be able to stay together for my niece’s wedding this weekend at The Barn at Shady Lane. The groom’s parents rented the other 4 BR Oster house about 4 doors down and the Bride’s parents rented another VRBO property right between these. The houses are about two minutes from this perfect wedding venue! Back to this specific house for this review - it was amazing! All four bedroom suites are downstairs and are perfectly appointed. Walk upstairs and find yourself in an enormous space that was so perfect we were sad to leave. We found everything we needed and believe me, the pictures online do not do this space justice! The owner has thought of everything and promptly responded with every question I had and clear instructions with alarm codes, internet passwords, etc. He also provided a link to extensive information on restaurants, shopping and other attractions in the area. I did visit the other Oster house and it was equally incredible. I understand the Osters have houses available in several locations other than Birmingham and I would definitely look for one of them if we were planning a trip there.

  Absolutely perfect!!!

  There were 8 of us. The house layout was perfect for our group. The entry housed all the clubs. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms perfect. Upstairs was the kitchen (we had April Moates cook dinners to perfection nightly) sharing the open space kitchen are reclining couches and a pool table. Off that space is a screened in porch with table/chairs and the perfect spot for a cigar. The folks at Oxmoor Valley are extremely accommodating and make getting back and forth seemless. We were like kids in a candy store as the putting green served for nightly entertainment. If there was one wish we had it would be for a Golden Tee machine. Why the wish? It seems that in the Oster houses anything is possible!! Stay here- it is cost effective, comfortable, almost luxurious, and great for a group to be able to hang out together!!! Planning on returning both here and hitting Montgomery!

  Beautiful property!

  This home is absolutely gorgeous! It looks exactly like the pictures! If ever back in Alabama would DEFINITELY stay here again! Not only was the home beautiful, the owner of the home was very gracious and accommodating to our needs. Thanks again!

  Amazing rental

  This was the perfect fit for our group, just far enough away from where we needed to be, but on a beautiful golf course. It was a great house to share and could have shared with a few more people. Rick was great and would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a spacious, beautiful, sprawling area to relax in at the end of a busy day!!!!

  Best Golf House Ever

  This is the best golf house ever for 8 guys. Or 4 guys if you're loaded. 4 bedroom suites, great kitchen, dining area, pool table, putting green. We had so much fun cooking our own meals, drinking some great wine, and playing pool and having putting contests. Totally exceeded expectations.

  Fantastic

  In a word: Perfect. It was clearly designed to host 8 guys on a golf outing and that is exactly what we had. The house is beautiful, the view is great, the screened porch was perfect for post golf drinking and stewing. The bedrooms are great and the bathrooms are even better. The house is well stocked with necessities. I can't describe the service when we were there because there was no need for service, nothing went wrong. If you have a group of 6-8 golfers wanting to make a golf trip, you could not do better than going here, and I am including exotic destinations like Monterey, Arizona, Mexico, Scotland. I would highly recommend using a personal chef for dinner.

  Amazing golf trip rental!

  Absolutely the most perfect rental for a buddies golf trip. The owner thought of everything 8 guys would would want or need in a home. He was great at communication as well. The Oxmoor Valley property is fantastic as well. My group raved about the house all weekend. We will be back for sure!
